ClarSum
ClarSum: AI Calculator — tap, talk, or snap. On-device.
The multi-modal AI calculator for moments when typing into a tiny
keypad isn’t the way to do math. Big keys, voice input, and receipt
OCR — all running on your iPhone.
🌐 Status: shipping v1.0 on the App Store (Global launch). Coming soon.

What this repository is
This is the public-facing repository for ClarSum, a product of
Beijing Linkos Culture & Technology Co., Ltd. (北京灵可司文化科技有限公司).
It hosts the privacy policy and the marketing landing page. The
ClarSum app source code is maintained in a separate, private repository.
About ClarSum
ClarSum is built around three ways to do math, so the right one fits
whatever your hands are doing:
- Tap it — keypad with ≥ 44pt touch targets and WCAG AA contrast.
Works whether you’re wearing gloves, fighting glare on a sunny
patio, or just want bigger numbers than the system calculator gives
you.
- Talk it — hold the mic and say “three forty-five plus six
seventy-eight.” Apple Speech transcribes locally, in English and
Chinese. Dialog mode lets you keep going — “plus three, change to
minus, what was that?” — without re-tapping the mic.
- Snap it — point your camera at a paper receipt, electronic bill,
price tag, or any screen with numbers on it. Apple Vision reads the
total straight into your expression. Long-press to fix a single
mis-recognised digit; no retyping the whole line.
On supported devices (iOS 26+ with Apple Intelligence enabled),
AI Boost understands more natural speech — “I bought 3 apples at
five dollars each” parses the same as “3 × 5”. AI Boost runs on Apple
Foundation Models, locally on your device’s Neural Engine. No cloud
roundtrip, no API call.
Who ClarSum is for
- Hands-busy moments — cooking, driving, building, traveling.
- Numbers-on-paper moments — receipts, bills, price tags, exam papers.
- Voice-first preference — accessibility users, multitaskers,
users with low vision or motor differences.
- Privacy-first preference — anyone who doesn’t want their math
going to a cloud they can’t see.
Privacy posture
- Math, voice recognition, and receipt OCR all run on-device. Apple
Speech and Apple Vision, never the cloud.
- ClarSum Pro (one-time purchase): zero network requests, zero data
collection.
- ClarSum Free: shows one launch-screen ad per cold start via
Google AdMob. That single ad request is the only network call the
app makes. Everything else stays on your device.
